The national cross 4I was introduced in the Mattone farm for market needs, when the company already owned several Chianina heads of cattle.
To obtain this blond coat bovine of the tender meats they selected the best bulls among the species of Chianina, Limousine and Bruno Alpino.
The cross is raised with the same alimentary process, on selected pastures, rich of grass-fed.
The national cross is called 4I because we run everything, since the growth to the manufacture: born, raised, butchered and selected within our chain process.
